This is the Gourd Lantern I working on for the Asilomar Gourd Conference it is almost done. This is my second time doing any kind of cutouts, I'm pretty pleased with them and that it only took 2 blades. The color is done mainly with the Gourd Master Inks then I have put the Polished Pigments over some of the patterns. The pigments are most noticeable on the dragon flies.
